IAT Sensor

  RenaultSport Clio 172 CUP
Could anyone point me in the right direction of the IAT(Inlet Air Temp) Sensor on a Clio 172 CUP,

Just brought one of these piggy back chips instead of a ecu chip because they are just so good dam cheap, one of my friends has one an says he can feel a slight difference, so i would like to try it out :) Has anyone else got one?

mine is from Celox Performance

dont fit it , the sensor is on the offside of the inlet manifold. you really dont want to fit it once again

that chip is just a resistor that costs pennies from an electronics shop. It 'fools' the ECU thinking the inlet air temperature is low, which would mean the air is more dense, so it chucks extra fuel in.

It will cause your engine to run rich, and can potentially damage it.

Its not worth fitting, you should've invested in a proper chip/remap

did you buy it off Ebay by any chance for a fiver

if its one of those things dont fit it

i think i said this before
fitting instructions for variable resistor:
1) place in refuse device
2) go to the pub and forget about it
