ICE advice required...

Hi All,

Booked in with a place in manchester to have my sub and amp fitted in my Cup (used to have them in the saxo) and have bought replacement components for the front that will also be running off the amp.

Now, after loading my sub and amp into the boot, I tried positioning the sub-box in a similar place as I had it in the saxo (tight to the back of the seats on the right hand side of the boot) however - there seems to be some kind of fixture on the floor of the boot at the bottom of the seats that prevents me from getting the box all the way back. Its leaving a gap which upsets me!
Also, due to the whole stripped out nature of the Cup, the floor of the boot seems very flimsy and the sub feels like it will move around quite a bit.

Im not in the market to sort out a custom fit sub box or buy anything else! Should I lose the sub for the time being and just replace the rear speakers as well as the fronts? Or has anyone got any suggestions for keeping the sub nice and secure (bar bolting to the floor so that I cant take it out as and when I need to!)

Sorry for the length of the post - just need some help!!!

Cheers.

heres one off the top of the head.....which i havent done myself and..and is abit of a sh*t idea:

buy sum velcro strips i dont now where from but they do exist and you could fix um to the bottom of the sub box? just an idea probly wouldnt work as they might not be strong enough and there could also be a problem keeping the box level with the floor.

Velcro - alot of ICE fitters use it to stop the box from flying about.

Get it from a fabric/materials store - p/ss cheap and does the job.
