ice and declaring it?

i have just got a in dash dvd player fitted into my car. no i did not tell my insurance company about my previous change of head unit nor do they know that i have a set of 6x9 and 2 subs + 2 amps know it dawned on me that i am not sure weather i should declare these or not. my insurance states that the cover me for £500 of stero equipment but not sure what that means any help here would be appreciated. so to declare or not declare thats my question lol

if you can afford the ice you can afford the insurance, is the basic rule.

Most insurance companies cover upto around £300 ice equipment iirc.

yeah so your saying you should be declaring it then. i have declared everything in my car and o it for exhaust to induction kit. but i didnt really think about ice till the other day. well i better give the insurance company a call then
