Idle at 0

Car  Little white 172
Fired the Valver up this morning and to my surprise after starting the RPM instead of dropping to its usual idle point... dropped and the car cut out.

Tryed to start it up a few times with the same result.

Any able to shed some light on this?

Could this need a replacement Air Flow Meter or could it be a ECU problem??

I have no idea whatsoever but my best guess would be a sensor or something!

Wouldn't mind knowing what it is though as my valver chugs a bit sometimes when you start it, then eventually evens out. I imagine it's some sort of sensor or something on its way out that causes that but like i said i have no idea! It's never cut out or let me down in any way though.

Think it could well be the Idle control Valve.... going to replace it tonight and see if that cures it.
