Idle / Tick Over

Ok. My idle has always been abit low, but now I have my new catback, I want it a little higher so you can actually hear the deep voice of the pipe.

How do you increase the tick over revs ?

So I have to take it somewhere and pay like 200 to get a little more revs on idle ?

How low is it could be a problem with the idle control valve?

I dont know about you mate, but i have a ktec stealth catback and at idle it makes the purfect deep burble, without my remap.

When i blow my remap on, it idles at 1000 and tbh, i lose a bit of the noise at idle

I have an 2002 172 and the idle on that is very low was lookin for a way to pick it up to around 1000revs, is there no manual way to do it then?

Thats where I would like mine also, about 1000 revs..

Which cars had carbs, id get the screwdriver out
