Why bother using it though? IE is a massive target for malware, so there is a much bigger chance of a security breach and when a security flaw is found, Microsoft are extremely slow to patch it.
Recent vulnerabilities include Cross-Site Scripting, so its open to phishing attacks, still not patched by MS, There is a Arbitrary Content Disclosure Vulnerability, which can disclose sensitive information from your browser.
Also, the mishmash of ActiveX, scripting, and its integration with Vista means it is more vulnerable to attack, in comparison to other browsers.
It isn't standards-compliant, and MS appear to have nothing but their own interests at heart. Standards are there to benefit the Internet as a whole, MS have purposely turned there backs.
The benefits of using IE are too few - and the faults too great
If someone is going to use it though, set this as your homepage>
