Is any good would you buy it?

I really dont want to buy another clio but i really dont need a bigger car.

  Civic Type-R

Would be nice if its good, but I want to keep my 172 for a long time and then buy a much faster car so prob no :) But if its really good I might be tempted.

  Octavia VRS

think Im going to get one of the last 182s hopefully at discount price!

I wouldnt mind the new clio RS but couldnt justify spending 17k on it!

Planning on sticking with the V6 ...

... at least until the warranty runs out but dont tell the missus ;)

When the time comes to change the V6 the new RS Clio will be high on my list of possibles if its any good.

il wait until the heavier new RS come out with its big wheels then il capitalise on the depreciation and get myself a cupped 182 maybe with recaros or a 182cup with recaros.

perhaps get a yellow 182 or a petrol blue.

the next RS is aimed squarley at the UK market so it will sell far more than the 182/172 and be as common as the audi TT.

but its heavier and has probably 20hp more so in reality prob not much faster or a fun.

  Audi A6 (S3 on order)

Hell no. Once I am done f**king with my one, I am getting a 5GT and an A3. The two renaults will be used at weekends for having a laugh.

if the list is 17k youll be able to get them for 14.5 if you look around I think it will be incredible, 200BHP if its well honed will be simply awsome in a car that size. Does anyone actually know if its heavier or are we just speculating?

i would need to see it in the flesh first, but from the odd picture flying about it looks nice,so mmm a possibility.

I will make sure I have the money available to buy the CTR so the new Clio will have to do more than compete on price and truly be a better car when performance and reliability are concerned. At £17k it wont be allowed any flaws.

Ive pretty much already decided ill be getting one, subject to the competition at the time.

at the end of the day Renault arent stupid (or are they?;)) theyre not gonna build a car thats crap that people wont buy.

Hell i cant justify having my 182 now, only doing 5k a year in it and it spending most of its time locked up in my garage waiting for me to have a day off to take it out

So,no for me.I dont think performance and handling and equipment levels will be that much better to want one that much.

Im going to keep my 182 and love the fact they dont make them anymore and i have one in mint condition waiting to pleasure me ;)

I have always been slightly envious when every now and then you see a superb specimen of a car out of production with low miles in mint condition, like a 205 Gti for example.Well now ill have chance to be in that position :)

If it is as good as stated may be tempted. Think it will impress the competition and should live up to the name

I reckon Ill get one..by the time I can afford one Ill have had the 182 for 2 years which is always the time I change my cars! I make that June 2007.

I intend to hang on to my 182 for a good few years, perhaps spending a few grand on a major power hike when the warranty runs out, rather than a new car. A like the idea of a mint 05 Cup with circa 200bhp+

No for me. Although Ive never had a problem with my 172 Cup. I wouldnt want another Renault - Shock stories about all youre 182s in and out the dealers all the time! Put me right off them!

Although the dealers do generally suck, its not fair to presume the Clio is a hugely unreliable car based soley on stories you read here. People generally only complain when something is wrong. For every member here with problems, theres probably another thousand more with none.

i will be having one.

Oh and re dealers and 182s, read my Renault Service thread in here!

It wont be £17K.

Yes ill have one

Or ill some something a little more impractical, who needs comfort when work is only 4 miles away.

Porche will hopefully be my next car ;) or maybe a M3 if i need something a bit more practical. Dont think ill ever buy another Renault unless they make something really special. Renault seem to have there exterior styleing spot on, they just need a nice interior to go with it, i love the exterior on the 225,182 and V6s but there interiors are crap.
