If you had the £££ what would you do to yor Clio?

Just wondering what people would do if they had an unlimited budget for their clio.

I know most people don't see much point in spending lots of money on clios or some people have already done all they want but what about every one else :rasp:

I would:

Lower on coils.
25mm hubcentric spacers.
RS remap.
Power flex bushes to stiffed it right up.
RS Recaros.

If it was an unlimited budget to modify the clio, I'd have Renault's F1 developers rebuild the clio using the most exotic materials and converted to RWD.

Park it on top of a big hill and then take potshots at it with a high powered rifle...Then finish it off with some sort of RPG.
 
actually wouldn't do much to mine and will probably get round to doing it all over time anyway:

clutch
refurb wheels
have it de-dented
uprate front brakes
de-cat, remap
possibly, pair of Pro2000 seats

hate to sound like a n00b, i'm just not into mk2's very much, but what exactly is a 1*2??? i'm guessing its not a 1.2 :)

Edit: I'd sell my car and get a Valver or a willy's :p

Lol, I was going to write something similar. For me it's sell it & buy a vx220 turbo, job done.

I've never understood folk who want to pour a daft amount of money into a car, a couple of grand, fair do's but some spend way more than that.

On another note mate, if (and when) you sell the Phase 1 V6 how much would you sell it for? ;)

For my Williams I would source all components from the group A Diac rally car. I have no idea what this would cost £20,000 +

I'd need to buy one first lol, but i think i'd go for a Ph1 172 in black, drop it like it's hot with AST coilovers, williams wheels in sparkle silver, Cobra Recliners and mod the steering column to get it lower and improve the driving position and do a non-PAS conversion. Rotrex supercharger on a lowered compression engine build with forged pistons and rods. Custom plenum with a standard throttle body, Cat 420 inlet cam for non phase shifter, standard exhaust cam and Cat adjustable pulleys. Sadev sequential gearbox with paddle shifters. Fabricated mounts to replicate Cup racer arrangement. 182 exhaust manifold, custom exhaust (made by me in mild steel) and all on Omex 710 management
 
would probably fit a V6 bodykit....

seriously though, it would be gone tommorow if i had the money

sounds good but id have a group b engine in the back lol.... no rules on how much powers allowed:)

Nothing more than strip it out and bang in some buckets. And I'd buy a BMW 330d to smoke around in.

Complete paint correction with colour coding*
Detailed*
Dual optic headlights*
Splitter Meggy* / Cup etc
Tow eye
Replace interior*
Recaros / Cobras
Coilovers (springs*)
Pay to have every single speedbump removed
Top quality HU, components and amp, possibly a sub
New roof panel with no sunroof
New alarm fitted
Central locking looked at*
Ph2 rear bumper*
Less stiff clutch pedal and accel. pedal
Replace drivers side wing*
Replace wing mirrors*

Yada yada yada.

The points with an asterisk I'll probably get round to doing, mostly just the cosmetic stuff.
