Ignition light on dashboard:S

i have just connected up battery on clio after putting engine back together due to blown head gasket and when i turn the ignition on, 3 of the 4 lights show up like there supposed to but the coil one dosnt, does anyone know why this could be

i think it may have something to do with ht leads and distrubtor cap because all i no for certain is where number 1 ht lead goes

any help would be mostly appreicated

Which light do you mean, is it a diesel, are you referring to the pre-heater coil light ?

its the four light around the petrol guage and its a 1.2 energy, mk1, phase 2

the arrows are pointing to the lights i mean

The one on the right is the diesel preheat circuit light, it comes on till the glow plugs have warmed up, the time its on varies depending on how cold it is.

Did you connect all the glow plugs up when you put the head back on.

Does the car start ?

its not a deisel so the one on the bottom (springy looking one) is only for deisels then

Yes, its the glow plug pre-heat light, that why i was struggling with the 1.2 energy thing, lol
