Its usually a yblue wire if memory serves mate,

Yeh its the door I know its not much help but give you an idea, where are you pulling the ignition wire from? behind the dials or from the stalks?

Depends where you want to take it from? Radio etc?
Easiest way is to buy a cheap meter, one pin on an earth and then just test the other wise.
You'll find permenant lives, discount those, then check any with no power whilst flicking the ignition on and off. Very easy.
