cars goin into renault bham 2mo for a new downpipe, took it in today to show them as its lowered and wanted to make sure it could make it onto their car ramps and a mechanic opens my bonnet and says nice valver youve got here.....

turned round and said ermmm its a 1.2 mate and he says oh yeh i knew that

please god dont let him work on my car....

Maybe hell get confused, try and fit a valver downpipe, realise it doesnt fit and put you a valver engine in to make sure it does?

Ive had to do the dreaded with mine, take it back to the dealers that f**ked the service for the next service as everywhere else was booked up, see as it needs to be serviced before the weekend the only option I had was delivery and collection service. OH f**k!

and the car is back safe, they have treated it well, jus found out the service manager is the dad of a young lady i know and my mom teaches her to drive and she sed shed tell her dad it was in today so i think hes read my name and made sure its been looked after, its even been valeted!!

the exhaust sounded mint on the way home, no flat spots in accelleration like there was before!!

only problem on the renault checklist it says front nearside driveshaft bellow leaking...... *gulp*

Id be getting them to sign off a walk round inspection and also the mileage, so you know the little scrotes arent going to be taking liberties...

To be fair its normally an older guy who does the collecting as one of the guys here uses them. TBH Id be very surprised if he can do it harder than I do anyway, Im more worried about the fact Im letting them service it again.
