Im handing back my Clio tomorow!!!!!

Tomorrow I am handing my clio dynamique back to the finance company, In order for me and rob182 to be able to afford our 182, I am going to be really sad when it has to go, I know its for a good cause and i cant wait to collect the 182 but at the same time im a llittle sad to see my clio go!!

Has anyone else felt the same in the past when they had to trade in there car or hand it back?

Are you allowed to take the tax disk out so you can get a refund? Check the small print as they will say you must leave it in regardless...

When my girlfriend traded in her fiesta for the Clio, it was sad, because the car never once played up.

I'd hating the day I've ever have to trade my car in.
I'd feel so sorry for the next owner and the cars had such great history.

I missed the Escort I used to have all the time for months then again it did have way more feedback than any car since then I've ever driven.

Traded in a 1994 L reg 1.3 Fiesta LX in foir my Clio, only got £100 for it. Not complaining as I paid £400 for it three years earlier and only once did it fail to get me home when the battery ran flat due to a dodgy alternator connection. So far since May I have had two Y reg Clios (first one was written off after a month), both of which have been in the garage a dozen times between the two of them...

I hated it when my wife gave up her job and had to hand back her Audi TT Coupe 225 company car. It was such a lovely a car in a colour similar to the Arctic Blue 182s. I remember the lorry that delivered it to our house. It was like a removal van but emblazened with the Audi Logo. The delivery guy lifted up the door at the back and there it was in all its shiny glory!!

Then I thought how the hell is he going to get it off as the edge of the truck was at least 3 feet off the ground. He reached inside the cab and pressed a button, the whole back of the truck then proceeded to tilt up and slide back to the ground. The delivery guy and his mate then unshackled it and reversed it off.

The neighbours net curtains were twitching that day I can tell you!

Remember when i got rid of my clio was sad to see it go.

Was even worse when my brand new car decided it was gonna spend at least 1 day a week in the dealers for the first 6 weeks.

I just wanted my clio back then. In the 3 years i had it from new it didnt have 1 rattle scratch car park ding or anything it looked like it just left the showroom.

Whenwe had the TT they were all 1.8, either 180bhp (single tailpipe) or 225bhp (double tailpipe). Probably the nicest car I've ever driven, clutch wasn't heavy and the gearchange was sublime.
