I've been reversing into the same driveway for 2 and a half years and owned the clio for just over 2 years. Quite funny now I think about it.

Cheers, glad people like the wheels. Was going to do the front two this month. Gettin this naughty little scratch out is priority though. I had just finished work last night and walked into the door aswell. It drew blood!

bit of a shitter eh! I'm the only one to have not done the same at my parents house (so far..) really narrow posts.

My dad had his porsche for 2 weeks, when he reversed up, its tight at the best of times, but the classic part was that he didn't actually touch the post - there was a snail stuck to the side of one, which remained stuck on the wall, and scraped down the side of the car! his hissy fit which resulted in one crushed snail was amusing though

not to worry ive done it to mine. the parking spaces at my work are dead dodgy to get into and i clicked the wall about 3 weeks after having the 172.....luckily only cost £100 to fix and it was done within 3 days

we stayed in a hotel in bournemouth and one of the parking bays had a lampost in a similar place, my dad completely forgot and reversed straight into it and knocked it over,
the hard core rangerover just had a wee dent in the back bumper. we went in and told them we had just taken thier lampost out and they were well chuffed, as they had been trying to get it moved for years. my dad left all his details but when the hotel was asked who did it they said they didnt know hahah

I did the same in my dad's Mondeo. Had been driving in and out the same driveway for years. Borrowed it one day and came back......CRUNCH - scuffed all the driver's-side front bumper on the drive post.

I actually think I was more p1ssed off with myself than my dad being annoyed!

Got a quote for £120. Gonna shop around, doubt I'll find cheaper. Didn't realise it cost to have a lamp post moved. I've always wondered what came first. The driveway or the lamp post. I think the guy who owned the flat before me didn't put too much thought into the design.
