im thinking of selling my clio, how ,uch is it worth?

i have a clio 1.4 sport. r reg, but ive put i 1.8 16v engine and box in it, its a mini rocket, just wondering how ,uch its worth as its still 1.4 on logbook amd would attract young drivers as it would be cheap insurance, has anyone seen how much these conversions go for? cheers

A young driver would be a bit of an idiot to buy it and not declare the engine mod to his insurers.

Is that Mk1 or Mk2 you have then?

Anyone who insured it as a 1.4 (I guess that includes you) is stupid IMO might as well not insure yourself.

i have just done the engine conversion, so i aint insured it at all yet, its mark 1 engine, but i guess my 1.4 is mark 2, r reg?

Depends what company, most who would insure it charge the same as the doner car in this case a valver.
