Ok so I'm getting a Liquid Yellow 182 FF in about 4 months time when I've saved up some money.

Thing is, there's only 73 registered liquid yellows, and only 64 are FF. I keep looking on piston heads and the 'for sale' section on this site but there just isn't any for sale.
I'll save my money and I won't have a car to buy!!

If they're on PH chances are they're on here so you're only really looking in one place. I would keep checking AutoTrader personally and as daft as it sounds I've seen a few on eBay!

No I didn't, don't really trust e-bay when it comes to cars for some reason. But I think I will have to broaden my search when I do buy one.

Someone called JayR on this site said he might be interested in selling his liquid yellow, I pm'ed him but he hasn't replied - might of changed his mind!!

I know how frustrating it is when you've got the money but what you want just isn't there at all, in four months time you may be lucky as one might turn up, if not hold out for it.

Once you spot a car you think you may want to view, you have to act fast. You have to search everywhere you can about twice a day, say on here, PH, auto trader, ebay etc.

I always wanted a silver mk1 vee (nice & original) Then I spotted mine for sale - I was on the phone to the dude within a hour of his ad going on PH (he put it on a 9.30 at night, I was on the phone by 10.30 !)
At the end of it I ended up with cracking car in a great colour (as Ali will say - the best colour ) It's rare as, so for me it was well worth it !

Just keep looking, you may have to wait a while, but it will be worth it in the end. I'm going to be looking for a liquid yellow vee next year. I'm worried about that too, there's only 18 of those!! That will take a while I'm sure, if I can find one at all!
