import 182?

I was looking through my service history etc when i discovered my 182 had been imported from directly from france. My question is will there be any differences from a UK spec clio to a French import?

with the risk of sounding stupid would it not be lefthand drive if it came from france...

i think the imports came without an alarm, and without locking wheel nuts.

and the steering wheel on the wrong side? Right? Unless someone bought it direct from Renault factory or something?

no definetly right hand drive. It has a non renault alarm fitted sigma alarm but documents clearly indicate import lol

No locking wheel nuts, no alarm, no security window etching.. Sure there's something else but can't think of it atm.

I suppose I would but it didnt know untill today at least I know mine was built the way it was supposed to the French way:rasp:

Lee had this trouble years ago and wrote to renault.They sent him a letter stating that as long as you register it with a local dealer you have just as much warranty as a (british) 172/182
