Improved 3rd, 4th & 5th gear synchro rings

Morning all,

Just a heads up to say that after much aggro, I've managed to get some improved synchro rings sorted out for the jc5's.

These aren't designed for fast gearchanges - that's just how the box is designed. What these synchro rings are aimed at is giving a significant improvement in service life. This will also help to reduce the wear that occurs on the dog teeth on the gears/selector hub. These are quite costly items - as some of you guys reading this can testify to.

All because the lady loves milk tray.

No mate they're an almost identical synchro ring to the oe item. These have just had the tolerances closed up to improve efficiency.

Yeah the selector hub is the expensive item Keith @£120 ish on its own. It's because it's combined with also being used as a reverse gear.

i dont suppose there any any improved synchros floating about anywhere? time my box needs a refurb and want to improve every bit i can to get it to last longer, i dont track it just daily really with a bit of play in the summer, any help is greatly appreciated
