In your opinion!!

Alright dudes,

Right then, basically, i would like to know what, induction kits, and systems people have on their clio *1.8 16valvers 91-96* and which ones have been reconmended and in your opinion best suited!!

I have 3" powerflow system to cat back and it sounds, awesome *Not too loud but rumbles. Acceleration feels really smooth too!

I also have piperX Induction kit, *Its ok* i think there has to be a better air induction kit?

Also as mine is a 92 is it posible for me to d-cat it without having to bolt the mailto:b@$tard">b@$tard back on for every MOT!!??

Cheers Ricki

From what ive read on here the best set up is the std airbox with replacement element

For keeping your power Id say - Standard airbox with the original filter element - just change it more often than the service interval.

As above standard airbox, with panel filter. And a 70mm air feed from the air box to the fog light or hole next to it.

I had mine rolling roaded before and after I had my K-Tec zorst and de-cat put on. Zorst will have hardly done anything, but the de-cat made a world of difference. Especially for 40 odd quid lol!

Peak power only went up about 1-2bhp, and torque about 1lb/ft, but both peaked some 300rpm lower, and the graph showed gains of about 5bhp and 5lb/ft through-out the rev range.

On the road, it made a noticeable improvement. No having to go to the red line to get the most out of it.
