Induction kits

Just wondering which sounds and looks better in the engine bay from K-tec its between the Clio 1.2 16v induction kit or the Air fillter relocation kit plus the KTR pipercross induction kit.

Suggestions welcome.

it may make some nice noises, but dont expect to see any performance increase, if its open cone, it may even reduce your power, by sucking in hot air.

Oh I dont know Mitchy.... the re-location pipe is a nice shiny bit of kit and an open filter might beef up the sound of his car a little. Wont gain you any power (you might actually loose a bit).

i have seen pictures of a BMC CDA fitted to a 1.2 16v, got the pic of the internet, foreign car. Aint got a clue how good it would be tho........but not a common occurence! Rob.

Agreed, i had a pipercross and k-tec relocation pipe, yeah it made the car sound a little better, but made it run quite lean, it used to cut out quite a bit. Quite annoying pulling away from traffic lights. Once i got my full stainless cat back on i couldnt hear it anyway so i sold it and went back to the standard airbox and the car runs far better. Im now looking at changing the standard filter to a Jetex, Green etc.

ive got a full stainless steel cat bk so it wouldnt make much difference to the noise then not to sound thick not up on engine mods whats a jetex and how much they cost plus where do you get em from

Sorry, its just a panel filter mate, but better than the standard one.
