Info needed by fellow clio sporters!!!

Hi peeps, i had an accident with my clio 182 and ripped the passenger side headight washer jet off. firstly, i need to get a new one so can people send me in the right direction. Secondly, can anyone tell me how they are fitted. there is still water coming out of where the washer jet was but dont have the washer jet itself. How are they secured to the bumper? are they expensive to buy and how hard are they wired? thanks a lot!! all help is greatly appreciated!

Yes there is an M14 size nut securing them to the bumper skin. If yours has been 'ripped off' is the bumper damaged at all??

hi Da, thanks for the speedy reply, very much appreciated. Yeah bumper is damaged, paint has been scraped off wow was expecting a huge price from renault for the headlight washer jet. kinda put a smile on my face though damage is still there. Would this nut be supplied with the washer jet? thanks

No the M14 nut is not supplied by Renault with the washer jet, they may be able to supply but it would be a separate price.
I picked up a couple for a few pence from my local hardware store.

im just confused as theres just a hole there now where the washer jet is meant to be. just wouldnt think a nut would hold the washer there securely :S

There is a washer also from memory that comes with the washer jet, just no nut.

If not buy a couple of M14 washers also, I can't remember as it's years ago now.

it looks from the outside that its stuck on with some kind of sealant lol. i will order one and get the garage to fit it but will go to hardware store and get a few m14 nuts for them

My local Renault charged me £10 for one washer.. got the other for £3.99 on ebay, then they charged me £3.50 for 2 bolts to hold them on! lol

heres the part numbers you will need for the washers and nuts..

NUTs: 77 03 033 125 (sold individually)

Washers: 77 01 207 168 AND 77 01 207 152 (I dont know which part number is right or left)

bolts are sold individually and so are washers.

Washer comes with rubber seal with white securing clippy thing to bumper, then all secured with nut.. I tried to get these nuts in a few places like B & Q, homebase etc but in the end just paid the sily price for them from renault!

you are buying a washer jet which the nut screws onto, holding it in place.. 2 items! Id put a pic up of them for you if I knew where my phone usb lead was!
