Inlet Matching

  RS Clio 172 Ph1
Hi All

I'm considering an Inlet Match on my Phase 1 172 as I've read reports that a substantial power gain can be achieved from these old engines.

Anybody have this done?

Pros or Cons?

Anywhere in the SouthWest recommended?

You can get some power, but substantial - dont think so...
It s a good mod, especially for ph I, but dont expect too much

True, but if he only does porting the difference won t be noticable.

porting + exhaust+ remap - you get some power :)

actually. thinking about it, there might be a place in devises called headtune who do this sort of thing.

I'm having this mod from BenR a few months and I can say that I'm happy with it.

It gave a few bhp(3-4) top end and from 5000+ rpm the car was better than before...
In the low rpms the car was pretty much the same....

Good value for money...

And keep in mind that all Renaults look to benefit from air/breathing mods....
