inlet or manifold

i'v got a 172 with ss exhaust, decat, filter an remap. what would be better next, a 182 manifold or gettin the inlet matched? cheers

In terms off hassle and cost go for the inlet - ideally you'll need to get the inlet remaped again to get the best from it

i've had both done , so if i had to choose again , i'd say the inlets 1st .

Well yeah because youve carried out another breathing mod eg you shoving more air in so will need to shove more fuel in to get the best from it

Its not essential but ideally to get the best from it you should really

182 manifold is a big job. Hell of a lot more involved than a inlet

wish i known that before, only had it remaped last monday!!

had all my mechanical mods done and remap at the end ....... as said to benefit from your mods another remap may be required

Standard ecu should cope with anything up to 10% increased power gains I believe.
