Inner CV/Driveshaft Boot

  PH2 172
I found today my Inner CV/Driveshaft boot is FUBAR, looks like all of the gunk has gone too :(

Am I looking to have to replace the shaft too or will I be able just get away with the boot? What am I looking at for parts + labour for both eventualities?

cheaper to replace the lower arm rather than fuk around with the cv boot. Do it yourself its easy hah. i got my lower arm from renault for £30 or so, but my uncle said he couldnt got it for alot cheaper after i got it :(

lower arm has nothing to do with the CV joint or driveshaft

Inner CV boot is a pain in the arse, it's not a servicable item due to how it's assembled. Havn't worked out a relaible repair yet, but I'm trying to find something. New driveshaft is the only way TBH :(

Thought that could be the case, what am I looking at for a driveshaft? About £90 + labour?

if the boot hasnt split then you can try and repack it with grease and put a jubilee clip on it to stop it coming off, if your cv joint has been exposed without grease for a while though it could have cause damaged to the joint
