Inphase Audio Equipment - WARNING TO ALL!

I know most people know of Inphase Audio to be rubbish but i think alot of people are sheep and follow others all the time.

This is a warning to anyone who uses the search button for INPHASE.

I know their speakers are rubbish, I've had the top range competition speakers and killed them from the headunit, never mind amp'd.

I even recently bought in to the hype of their amplifers being top notch.
I got my self an Inphase IPA2001D amplifer, the 4001D is the only one above this, the amp itself looks nice and is very easy to set up.

Even tho it boasts a 1000wRMS and 2000w max, it has problems powering an Alpine type R 10". They led me on to believe that the sub being old is restricting 90% of the power, how some one who represents IPA set up the amp, it well and truly blew my Alpine sub.

I went out and got a TREX12 for £100, usually £499 rrp. Connected this to the amp and got nothing out of it at first.
When it was finally set up, all i can say is the hairs on my head were moving and it hit deep.

Down side is it lasts for 15mins max before the amp dies and your sub bass has gone for the next 3 hours as the amp cools.

Price is £317.63 from caraudiocentre.

I have had OK experiences with inphase, but awful experiences with car audio centre and vowed never to use them again about 4 years ago.

Long story short, quoted me one price, tried charging another, then tried damaging my car. Didn't manage any of it successfuly, but they tried no end to f*ck me about. I complained to HQ and despite how apologetic they were, no compensation etc was offered.

Avoid Car Audio Centre like the plague.

Oh i will be doing, also just to note. Inphase do not like people bad mouthing their products.

They can, techincally, do that.

But it would cost quite a bit and wouild likely spurn an even bigger PR isssue.
A good will gesture to each of the complainants, along with a confidentiality agreement though, that would be good

i wouldn't even use any of their s**t, even if they paid me.

I will not be doing this anymore either, im trying to get my money back and from there going to SPL Dynamics amps.
