Install depths, head unit wiring

I'm after the install depths for front/rear speakers, practical maximum depth rather than people's own personal choice of which speaker to use. I'm not really interested in cutting or using a different rear shelf, so I'll have to endure the short-comings that 6*9's supposedly have.

Also, I'm sure I've seen a link to a site that sells the looms that allow your own stereo to still be controlled by the stalk???
