Insurance claim - not all mods declared - 2!!

Thanks for everyone's advice regarding my first topic on this:

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=106887

My friend has now removed his induction kit, should he put a standard kit in place? What should he tell his insurance company if they ask where the air intake is?

The car recovery place didn't ask him to write down what he'd removed, but surely his insurance company will ask him questions regarding this?

He might not have time now to put a standard airbox in place as he's very busy with his job at the moment...

Thanks

^^ That would be my course of action as well. never fit anything you cant remove yourself.

The recovery company will not be interested, they just want there share of the pie. A certain recovery company offered to put a jack in and crease the roof on one of mine, wish id let them as thought it was a certain write of and the insurance company fixed it on 81% damage...fools
