insurance on a 182/ 172...

i want a 172 / 182, not sure which yet, but what kind of prices am i looking at for insurance or will i even get insured, 2NCB and I'm 19.

Im 21 and have 2 years ncb, live in an medium postcode risk location.

Id say you would be looking at quite high as i remember when i was 20 and was getting quoted like 2k. But thats just me changes for everyone.

I suggest you just get some quotes

Yeah will be big bucks mate but just get quotes.

Id say 2-2.5k would be reasonable.......I was paying 1300 tpft on a valver which is a grp 11 car at 19 and that was garaged and limited to 5k milage a year!!!

Im now 21 with 2 years nc, no accidents to my name and 4years driving exp and im paying just short of a k on the 182!!!

It's very hard to get insured until you are 21. I would probably get a Pug 106 GTI for now and hold on. I have heard insurance premiums will be rising at a 16% average and 40% for young male drivers.

I am 21 with 4 years NCB and am paying about £800 i think.
