Insurance Question?

  Fiesta Silver Limited Ed.
Hi Guys,

Last september, 14 months ago was involved in a RTA. I admit it was my fault....we were travelling along a road when we came to a turn off into a side street, the two cars infront of me began to brake slowly, then slammed their brakes on as the car in front of them (the one turning into the side street indciated very late and broke very hard) and by the time i had reacted i was nearly touching the car in front. I hit the car in front of me which had a knock on affect and shunted the next car. My car was a right off.

This morning i recieved a letter off the solicitors of the girl travelling not infront of me but the next car on.....

They are stating it was my fault as i did not react quick enough and was failing to control my vehicle correctly. I now have to contact my insurers, sneding them a copy of the letter, as she apparantly suffered from soft tissue bruising and whiplash, although she was out the following night in a local club, as ive known the girl all my life.

I know it was my fault, but was an accident, i wasnt speeding up behind them just an honest mistake that i still fell terrible about. Just worried about whats going to happen next???

Any constructive advice appreciated?

Nothing much you can as far as I know mate.
You may be able to argue your case as to why it happened but at the end of the day you've admitted liability so I can't see it effecting the outcome any.
Unless of course you can prove she is trying to fiddle the system - whiplash is a toughy to dispute though.
