Insurance question

Last MOT I got a note about my chip in my windscreen, just wondering if its worth getting done through the insurance- and would it go up any?

you dont normally 99% of the time lose your NCB if you get 'just' your windscren replaced through insurance.

You will possibly have to pay a windscreen excess usually £50-£100 and thats that.
Best way to check i give your insurance provider a quick bell.

If its only a chip you might even be able o get it done for free wthout having to pay an excess, go to one of those blokes with a marquee thing usually in DIY store car parks and stuff. They will tell you whats the best option depending on the state of the windscreen

Cheers Mate I'll give them a shout tomorro and see what they say. I wanted to see if I loose NCB's for other peoples experiences.

If it is a repairable chip, a lot of insurance glass/windscreen providers will not charge you.
