Insurance: Starting a policy early

Current Insurance: Tesco with my policy ending on the 31st on March (NCB) My 1.2 16v

New insurance: Looking for insurance for my 2.0 16v 172 so the start date is 31st of march. What im woundering is there anyway to insure the 2.0ltr before the 31st as a temporary cover so my policy still starts on the 31st for my NCB. I will be sorting my insurance out during this week and looking for early cover so i can collect the car from the body shop/ take it to get tracking sorting and some other things before the 31st. I am under 21 so i understand most companies wont touch me for temp. cover.

Im just woundering if my insurance company that i will be taking the years cover out could sort something?

any other suggestions?

they wont due to it being a 2.0ltr, apparently you have to be over 21 or 25 to insure anything over a 1.6 :dapprove:
