anyone no of any goot insurance companys for a 19 yr old 2 yrs no claims no points, want to get a 172 cheepest insurance ive found so far is £1600 wich i am willing to pay but would b nice to get it down a little !!

Who was your quote with? Elephant/Admiral and Bell are usually pretty cheap for younger drivers.

The last time I used confused the cheapest they quoted me was over £2000, when by looking myself I could get it for £500! Might be worth checking out some companies yourself too. The ones I said above are cheap usually.

I was with Renault Insurance when i got my 182 @ 22 and was paying £1000
No one else could get near it as i needed business cover,which i thought was strange as they are normally dear.
Adrian Flux offer good prices or Tesco.
Confused were no good at all! Bearing in mind im now 25, my car is 3 years old the cheapest i got offered was £2300 with one company and the mmost expensive was £6000! They told me Tesco wouldnt insure me but did it my self @ Tesco.com and am now paying £560 a year with free business use! Am i also right in thinking Elephant etc dont offer 12 month policys?

^Yeah Elephant do do 12 month policies aswell, but when you do the quotes it automatically comes up with the 10 month one. It gives you the option to change it though, but don't lnow if it works out dearer.

Tesco are cheap for me now, but when I got quotes a couple of years ago before I had full no claims, they wasn't very competitive.
