Interior and number plate bright bulbs

Could people please give me some links for each bulbs as I have a tendency to buy ones that blow after a week!

im am after ultra bright white to freshen things up

I use those for my interior light and they seem very white and quite bright, not blinding but brighter than the standard bulb. Quite happy with them for less than 1.05 each! Lasted a while now too. Was thinking of using two as sidelight bulbs but unsure if they're bright enough?

I use these in my boot which is the same bulbs as my number plate needs, they seem bright enough and are very white. Seen some with three smd though so thinking of trying one of those if it's brighter as the brighter the boot light the better when it's dark imo

I'd also like to know what other people use... either my tce doesn't like them or I'm buying crap ones as they blow really easily

Jack 172 do you have one light for your interior light or does it have a map light too?

If it's just a single bulb, it's a 38mm festoon, and a pain in the arse to LED as it only works one way or the other unless you use two bulbs or a bridge rectifier.

If it's got a map light, then it's 2 w5w bulbs, same as your sidelights.

Number plate bulb is an R5W.

Interior light, you'll need 2, and solder them together in opposite polarity using a wire from each end. (Or you could buy the courtesy light unit with a map light, and just use w5w bulbs without doing any soldering - I recommend you do this.)

The second ones I linked that i use in my boot are excellent for that and haven't blown, can't see them being any different with the number plate and its the same type of bulb.

I remember giving Ed.200 a pack of w5w's and him using them all over his car, including the numberplate IIRC.

Yup those were the ones.
Used the whole pack by the time I did the number plate, interior and door ones. Made a big difference

Where'd you get the sidelight bulbs they look great! Just what I've been looking for if you don't mind me asking
