i have had a look around for a while to check i am not teposting an old thread but basically i wanna change the silver dash inserts from silver to blue along with my door cards and gear stick top bit ...is their any sort of tutorial / guide on doing this e.g prep or anything ??
i am clio newbie but if they are anything like saxo parts then :
1) wash the item with hot water and washing up liquid (or use a paint prep or degreaser solution) this it to remove any interior cleaning product that my be on it
2) lightly key the surface by using some 800 or 1200 grit sand paper
3) apply 3 coat of spray primer, allowing 15 - 20mins between coats and then leave to dry for 24hr before painting
4) apply 3 coats of paint allowing 15 - 20mins between coats and leave 24hrs to dry
5) apply 3 coats of laquer, allowing 15 - 20mins between coats, its is dry in 24hrs but takes up to a week to fully harden
