Interior fans not working

Just bought a 182 and the interior fans dont work. Can anyone throw some light onto it? I was thinking maybe the control unit is gone?

fan above your head or in the heaters?

Usually the resistor pack in the blower unit fails, it's under the front scuttle panel. One of those annoying niggly little parts

9 times out of 10 when its climate control its usually the resistor. When its a/c recirc its usually the blower motor. This time of year we sell hundreds of them!

I had the same problem on my Mk4 Golf GTi, was told its probably the blower motor. Still havent got it fixed! How much do these things usually cost?
