Interior Fit and Finish....

The carpet in my Trophy doesn't fit properly (there are a few creases and bubbles in it)...

Also, there's about an inch high gap between the carpet and the lower part of the central console, which houses the gear stick and handbrake.

Same situation between the door sills and carpet.

My 182 FF doesn't have any of these problems, and all the plastic / carpet interfaces are completely tight.

Is this all because of the reduce sound deadening in the Trophy or do I need to sort this out?

Mine fits (or doesn't if you will) as you descride. 182 cup.

I guess the cup has a similar carpet to the trophy, less sound deadening and all huh?

Yea mine does that...
Undo the little plastic securing screw things and pull the carpet to where you want and then tighten u the plastic screw thing.
