Interior Grab Handles - 172 Phase 1

Hi all,

Where can I buy replacement silver interior handles (these are the ones you use to close the door from the inside) also mine seem to have a rubberised film covering all over them with what looks like a nice silver coating underneath, why are they covered in film?

Hope this makes sense !!!

lol, £50 each?

Did you fit them yourself, if so how easy?

Did your old ones have a rubberised film on them?

Cheers,

Sorry, not sure what you mean, I'm not talking about the door pull handles.

b3nje means the grab handles (ie where the window switches are). In each pocket bit of the handles, you'll see a little black round cover, use a tiny flat screwdriver to leaver these off to reveal a torx screw, undo this, then pull the handle up from the switches end. Pull out and disconnect the connectors for the window switches and voila.

You could get them sprayed like moi, cost me £35 to have em done and there a v.close match to the blue speaker grils and interior door handles colour.

that was for the pair mate....

theres a little black plug you need to pop out - under that theres a torque screw, take that out, and the whole grab handle lifts out, easy enough to unclip the window control switch etc....

my old ones had the rubberised film on them which was peeling, the new ones are exactly the same.

they are bloody expensive - but look top dog when theyre new.....
