Interior Sensors - Do they need maintenance?

My alarm appears to be going off randomly and following some research it seems to be the interior sensors as I had 3 blinks from the light next to the gear stick. Its 10 years old so I assume its safe to say they're on the 20% setting. Is it possible to maintain the sensors? or is it likely a replacement at a cobra specialist?

Does it matter I had 4 beeps when unlocking following the alarm?
