Hi guys, i have just joined the forum. i used to have a 182 and have just recently bought an 07 plate 197 in french racing blue. i felt the interior needed a few subtle upgrades to add comfort style and luxury, i want to keep the exterior mods to a minimum (although i do like streamline carbon's "winglets"). So i bought an armrest off ebay from a seller in france called ip trade, cost me 50 pounds all in and is very similar to the original renault part, except it fits in the rear cupholder, so you lose the rear cupholder but i can live with that especially as there is no need to screw into the car. Also i removed the centre binnacle (clock and radio station display surround) and had it covered in leather by a guy called Pete in Coventry, he only charged me 40 kwid and he used to work for aston martin, so it really looks like a part out of an aston and gives a nice hint of class to the whole interior. Please see photos. if you want to have yours trimmed, its very easy to remove yourself, just pull it out and disconnect the clock display. you could even post the part to Pete and he can post back.
