Inward vs Outward Rolled Exhaust

Apart from looking different, is there any other difference between inward rolled, outward rolled and slash cut exhausts? e.g. performance?

All in the look but personally I dont like outward rolls.

outward roll looks terrible. Inward roll is easier to have a silenced tailpipe so the sound can/will be different between the 2
