iPad 3 - Got one, also got a dead pixel.

Anyone else having issues or all okay? Going to return tomorrow , will be gutted if they have none left though!!

The first ones always have problems anyway, wait a few months till the beta testing (ie the public buying them and finding issues) has finished IMHO

You can get a dead pixel on any device no matter when you buy it.

All screens of this type have the possibility of dead pixels, I've had 2k laptops with them, the manufacturers actually have it written into the warranty that unless you have so many in a cluster you cannot exchange the product because of one, it's part of the manufacturing process that can't be helped. Especially when you are producing so many. They are becoming less common though as production techniques improve, although this new screen is pushing the limits because of how high resolution it is for its size.

I remember then the original PSP came out, think it was late 2004 in Japan, I got an early import one and as most people had up to 10 dead pixels I was chuffed to only have 3. Technology has moved on so much since then though.

Has a view sonic screen like it once but was replaced even though it was covered up to 5 in the spec not in center of screen

Got to say my Samsung 10.1 has exceeded all my expectations with the screen
