Ipad mini or ipad 2?

Hi im going on holiday on monday and fancy taking an Ipad for games,moves,books etc. I've seen on Tesco direct they have money off if you spend over £200 you get £20 and over £300 you get £30 off. Including my club card vouchers i can get the following Ipads

ipad mini 32gb £258


ipad retina display 16gb £298

Anyone got an Ipad mini? are they big enough to watch films on ?

i know there is a new ipad air and a new mini coming out but there alot more expensive

Mini is fine for films although the screen is a tiny bit better on a retina compared the the mini but not massively noticeable with the screen size difference.

mini has been attached to my hand since purchase, great for holidays and playing racing games in bed without fear or dropping it on myself :clown:
