iPhone 3G problem (not apps or software)

Hi Guys,

Soz for starting a new thread but really could do with a answer.

When i turn the volume up louder than 50% when i'm on a call (not on speaker phone), the callers voice goes all tinny like there is a super fast vibration in the speaker. It's the most annoying sound in the world when your trying to have a conversation!! argh im hoping its just my iphone and not a general thing with these so i can change it.

Is anyone else's the same when the volume is turned up?

Get a new one.

I'll try restoring it, although i think i tried this earlier? (hold home + sleep/wake button in till it resets)

No thats reset.

Plug it into iTunes and hit restore button on the Summary page.

nah its just the same, it must be a problem with my iphone. Even if the volume is not full but someone shouts down the phone i get this annoying tinny noise
