I wasn't really referring directly to ultimate costs. More just the fact that owning the handset outright gives you more options and flexibility. You're not tied in for two years.
I will be more than happy with an iPhone6 for 2 years tbh.
Still no confirmation from Vodafone on orders!!
Not even the 'order received' email ? I got the 'order received' email at 9.17am then the 'order confirmation' email at 9.57am on fri morn.
Nope not a peep!

Every other f**ker has confirmation apart from me.
They f**ked up two years ago for exactly the same thing. Guess who didn't get their phone on launch day... lol
Guess who's not getting theirs on friday?
Swap you mine for your car?
Deal. i assume you want a full tank of fuel too. Need to even up the deal some how!
Of course, I'd ask for a week with your Mrs too, but I couldn't do that to you.

I did my order on their website, got a confirmation email about 3 minutes after that.
It looks like anyone who ordered online gets the email automatically, if you ordered on the phone you will get as and when but order still confirmed. I hope!!

People ordering direct with o2, are you doing contracts? As renting your phone is pretty poor now.
Dispatched.
Mine is here, Tim says I can't open it yet.
Yes thats right. The 5 and 5s will be perfect on ios8. The 4 and 4s will be terrible.
Come the next update to ios8 the 5 and 5s will be slow.
Agree, I can't be doing with being locked in on a 24 month contract anymore, I did it once or twice at most and hated it.
The £828 checkout did hurt though.
Ditto although I'm quite happy to get a cheap silicon cover from the net until the Griffin and Otterbox cases become available in the UK
but survivable when dropped at work
