iPhone 6s bug or iOS 9 bug?

I've recently just upgraded from a 5 to a 6s.

Transferred all my data across can it works well.

I like to play a game called Trials Frontier.

The problem I'm having is when I double click to chance apps (trials is in landscape) to say whatsapp, whatsapp will be stuck in landscape also even though I have auto rotation locked to horizontal view.

Is this an iPhone 6s problem or software related??

Sam.

Just viewed a YouTube video on full screen, then double clicked and entered the messages app and it got stuck in landscape again.

It's rather annoying. [emoji53]

Interesting... this was a iOS 7 bug, which was still there in iOS 8, and fixed in iOS 9.

Works okay for me now, after putting up with it for 2 years! Have you updated to 9.1? Came out today.

100% it's the orientation lock.

I've never had the issue before but have just managed to replicate simply by turning on portrait lock.

I have portrait lock on but it would always put the messages app back to portrait when exiting a landscape app. Now it keeps it in landscape. :(

Turn off portrait lock, see if the issue goes away. I can only replicate the issue with portrait lock turned on. Turn it off and error goes away.
