iPhone help please

Since updating my 3gs im having problems sending emails, im recieving them ok but when i try to send one it just keeps trying and trying to send. Then after a while it say that the recipient was rejected by the server:S

Any ideas

What email provider, what network, etc etc.

It a blueyoner account and im on 02. Also its everyone i email even when i recieve one and do a quick reply it does it.Ive had the phone for over a year and it all stems from the upgrade ive done a few weeks ago.

Virgin media migrated to Google apps didnt they?

Are you using pop or imap? if you are using POP then migrate to imap, log into your webmail and switch it on in settings.

The incoming server is pop3.blueyonder.co.uk and out going is smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

Also you say webmail do you mean setting then Mail, contacts calenders??

Im nearly there now when i click on mail it keeps saying verifying then says my password is wrong

been busy bud. I had Virgin on the phone and they say i dont have to log into My Virgin they sent me this email to do it on my iphone.Hello,

Knowing google apps extensively(The system virgin uses), i highly doubt imap support is enabled by default.

Easy way to find out, if you set it up and it doesnt work then its turned off.
