Ipod head phone to Aux input

hi, i was recently looking at getting an ipod interface for my head unit, but have read too many bad reviews on it, so was thinking about a wire from the headphone socket to the cd player. has any one got one? they any good? i already had an Airplay but it broke and wasnt too impressed with the quality anyway. thanks for any help

ive got a pioneer HU and a lead that goes into teh multichanger socket, then onto two RCS leads, which then go into the ipod headphones socket. Works a treat - i think its a CD-RB10
