ipod help for 182

any advice on ipods. Got my new clio 182 wirh the standard single cd unit with the 4 x 40w 6 speaker sytem. What I need to know is there the socket at the back of it to add the multi-changer or in my case the box for adding you Ipod.
Really dont fancy any of these Itrps as Ive heard the sound quality is rubbish!

Theres a socket at the back for a changer but Im not aware of any Aux-in units available for the standard hu.

I looked into this - the standard single CD has a multi changer port on the back - although some people reported there were no pins in theirs.

I bought a pair of stereo keys from ebay for £3 and pulled out my unit to look - it has a cd changer port with pins.

Dension sell a device called Ice>Link and have a reno compatible version I think its £150 all in - http://www.ihavetohaveit.comwww.ihavetohaveit.com or something like that. The standard device is compat with sony HUs and they sell a converter that converts from sony to reno (tuner list) HUs. You should be able to hide the Ipod out of sight and control it from the HU or Stalk - although I dont think the display will show ID3 tags from the Ipod.

If you buy it let me know how you get on - I still havent got round to buying one yet.

sounds quality from an i-trip is poor, on the other hand, so is the head unit, in fact, its worse than the standard speakers

change it for an alpine model with the ipod interface, and connect it that way, best of both worlds
