iPod Help Required!! Very Strange / Important!!

Hello ladies and gents!!

My year old 30GB iPod died about a month ago (just displays as empty and showed no music etc). Thought it had deleted itself.

I done a data recovery on it and tried on 3 computers with iTunes etc with no luck.

SO 2 days ago I got another iPod from Apple (120GB for £168) with engraving. Opened it up etc!

So I'm attempting to put 4000 tracks on to my new iPod. I plugged my old one in for the music I had saved as data and for some god damn reason it loaded iTunes and now I have ALL my music back and its working fine!!

WTF!?!?!

Anyways, I need a way to transfer those 4000 tracks from the old iPod to the new!!

Is there ANY good way of doing this!?!?!?!

pick it up as a external device in my computer, find file and paste it to hard drive?

you cant do that with an ipod... ^ the file names are all different and distributed to different folders

tbh i dont think there is a short cut to transfering.

edit: music comes up like this on a ipod
