iPod speaker thingys

Hi people,

Good techie advice given here so thought I'd chance a question. Going on holiday soon which will involve food, drink and many an hour in or next to a private pool .

Want to get a set of iPod speakers/dock so that I can take the iPod rather than stacks of CDs. Does anybody have any hands-on recommendations for a good one?

Criteria are -

1) Can be AC powered, don't want to have to take a bunch of batteries
2) Docks and charges the iPod, would be nice if the dock fits the iPhone as well.
3) Small enough to sit in a suitcase without being at risk of being broken (i.e. small enough to wrap up in clothes)
4) Sounding good would be a bonus

Anybody that has one that they really like I'd be interested to hear about it, thanks.

Depends how much you have to spend, The portable bose system could be a shout if you're going to be paying top $$$.

Bought this for my missus a couple of months ago, sound quality is really good, im impressed with it. Check the reviews on there too, lots of good ones!
