Iridium spark plugs

Heya Guys / Gals

Anyone know if Iridium spark plugs make any difference on a Sport? Im looking at getting some but wondered if anyone else had had any experience with them?

Also....any idea where I can get some for a 172 ?

Hi,

They present no performance gains but last longer than standard plugs due to the tougher tips.

In terms of value for money, it depends on your mileage really.

Standard plugs are Iridium/Platinum anyway.

Nope they are meant to last to the 72k service, but a little earlier doesn't do any harm!

hi mate just done mine with ngk plugs part number; PFR6E-10, there double platinum premium, and made a difference imo.
